India ISRO has Mars Orbiter Mission at Mars and sending back pictures

The Indian Space Research Organization has successfully reached Mars with its Mars Orbiter Mission.

* Spacecraft Successfully entered Martian Orbit
* Burn Start of Main Liquid Engine Confirmed
* The radio link between the Spacecraft and Earth is now blocked by Mars.
* Eclipse starts – The Spacecraft is in shadow of Mars
* Forward rotation starts
* Changed Over to Medium Gain Antenna

One of the first images taken by the ISRO Mars Orbiter Mission spacecraft, released on September 25, 2014, shows the surface of Mars seen from a height of 7,300 kilometers (4530 miles)
