Batman vs Superman looks worth watching but old Batman likely means universe upending reboot

Warner Brothers seems to be doing a decent job with the Batman vs Superman launch of a Justice League Universe based on the latest trailer.

It seems to be an interesting adaptation of what was primarly the Dark Knight comic book with a natural plot flow from the Man of Steel story.

The DC Shared universe films are attempt to capture what Disney and Marvel have done with the marvel universe (iron man, thor, captain america and avengers movies)

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Suicide Squad August 5, 2016
Wonder Woman June 23, 2017
Justice League Part One November 17, 2017
The Flash March 23, 2018
Aquaman July 27, 2018
Shazam April 5, 2019
Justice League Part Two
Cyborg April 3, 2020
Green Lantern Corps June 19, 2020
Untitled Batman film with Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck is 42, but the Batman character is in his mid-50s.

Batman is by far the main driver of success for the DC movies.

Now even if this run of movies into the Justice League works (which is still uncertain and involves a lot of risks), then it seems a reboot is required in 2020 with a 60 year old Batman or some plot device to rejuvenate Batman.
