The new Microsoft Xbox One S supports 4K video output, including support for 4K Blu-ray discs, and high dynamic range (HDR) imagery. The system is 40 percent smaller than its predecessor, and it also does away with the bulky power brick that the first generation hardware uses.
It will support up to 2TB of internal storage. The base price will include 500GB storage, with the new controller and vertical mount stand shipping separately. The console also integrates an IR blaster, allowing it to control a TV without requiring a Kinect unit.
