Core Tubular Steel Slabs are up to 20 times lighter than reinforced concrete

Broad Group which has built factory mass produced skyscrapers has a new construction innovation – Core Tubular Steel Slabs (CTS).
* CTS are 8 to 20 times lighter than reinforced concrete
* CTS are 100 times more corrosion resistant than carbon steel
* CTS able to withstand temperatures 300 degrees celsius higher than carbon steel

The 6th generation BSB features a stainless steel panel clip diameter 16~32mm thin-wall core tubes, employing a special vacuum brazing assembly line which reduces cost and enables mass production.

  1. On paper, these B-CORE slabs have a lot speaking for them, but trying to find out what the user experiences are, and who applied them, and where they are used, I found it very hard to obtain any information. There seems to be pretty little informtation on them anywhere, apart from the marketing statements and their repetition in different internet media.
