Binance opening office in Malta, setting up fiat to crypto exchange and decentralized exchange

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by traded value, is planning to open an office in Malta, said founder Zhao Changpeng in an interview from Hong Kong. Binance will soon start a “fiat-to-crypto exchange” on the European island nation, and is close to securing a deal with local banks that can provide access to deposits and withdrawals.

Binance has opened withdrawals for Bitcoin X (BCX).

Binance last week opened withdrawals for Super-bitcoin.

Coinmarketcap.com indicated Binance trades about US$1.7 billion per day.

Binance is planning to launch a decentralized exchange in the coming months. The decentralized technology is currently too slow to replace the firm’s existing centralized exchange.

The decentralized exchange will list almost any coin.
