China used 6307 TWh in electricity for 2017. The USA has had no growth in electricity usage for many years and will likely use about 4100 TWh in 2017.
The EU-28 uses about 3100 TWh each year.
China will try to keep energy consumption growth to about 5.5% in 2018. This would be about 330 TWh and we would be more than the electricity usage of the UK. China would have about 6640 TWH of electricity usage in 2018.
By 2020, China will have electricity usage equal to the combined usage of the United States and the European Union (EU-28).
