Elon Musk plans to connect downtown city centers via hyperloop through Boring tunnels to spaceports that would use SpaceX BFR to fly anywhere in the world within 30-40 minutes in order to reduce transit time.
This would eventually let people travel from city center to other cities around the globe in less than an hour.
The first of those spaceport and hyperloop combination could be in Los Angeles, where the Boring Company is already working on a network of tunnels, and right after Musk tweeted the announcement above, he added that he will give a presentation about the company’s plans for Los Angeles tomorrow:
Boring Company Hyperloop will take you from city center under ground & ocean to spaceport in 10 to 15 mins https://t.co/VhpfhgdXSd
