IBM hiring 1800 in France for Artificial Intelligence, blockchain and IoT

Virginia Rometty, CEO of IBM, said that over the next two years, IBM will hire 1,800 people in France.

In January, IBM announced a project to recruit 400 people for research. These jobs will include AI, blockchain [information storage and transmission technology without a control organ] and the Internet of Things. IBM wants to make France a center of excellence dedicated to artificial intelligence. IBM collaborates with major clients such as Crédit Mutuel, Orange Bank, Generali, SNCF or LVMH. These examples show that France is doing the job well to be a driving force in AI.

IBM plans to put together a research team focused on blockchain projects, artificial intelligence and the internet of things.
