SpaceX delays sending tourists on lunar orbital trip to 2019 or later

SpaceX will not launch a pair of space tourists around the moon this year as previously announced but sometime in mid-2018 or later.

SpaceX expects to launch between 25 and 30 missions in 2018.

SpaceX projects may launch 40 percent fewer missions in 2019.

SpaceX has told NASA it is targeting the first astronaut test flight no earlier than December 2018. This schedule could slip to 2019.
