Elon Musk flew to Thailand with the mini rescue submarine. He tweeted out a picture after returning from Cave 3. There are still four boys and the coach to be rescued from the cave in Thailand.
Rescue operations have been paused overnight. The Thailand and foreign dive team’s have shown dedication, skill and experience. Four of the boys, and their football coach, are underground for their 17th night. Eight boys have already been rescued. It appears on Tuesday divers are planning to try to rescue the last five people.
There is lot of equipment that could be used like the mini-sub, other rescue pods and a large tunnel. However, it appears that two divers per boy or coach using buddy diving appears to be the proven method that will be used.
Just returned from Cave 3. Mini-sub is ready if needed. It is made of rocket parts & named Wild Boar after kids’ soccer team. Leaving here in case it may be useful in the future. Thailand is so beautiful. pic.twitter.com/EHNh8ydaTT
