US and EU agree to more natural gas and soybean imports from the US and lower industrial tariffs

The USA and the EU have agreed on a trade deal which appears to avert a trade war. The EU will import more natural gas and soybeans from the USA and both sides will lower industrial tariffs. There will be no new tariffs while further negotiations are completed.

There is the claim that they will be working towards zero tariffs.

The US Dow was up about 0.5% on the news of the deal.
