The Boring Company is proposing to build Dugout Loop, a zero-emissions, high-speed, underground public transportation system from the Los Feliz, East Hollywood, or Rampart Village neighborhoods (“western terminus”) to Dodger Stadium in the City of Los Angeles.
The Dugout Loop will help reduce traffic problems in Los Angeles and it will be an operational proof of concept. Dugout Loop will directly benefit the public by complementing existing public transportation systems and transporting baseball fans and concertgoers directly to the Dodger Stadium… in less than 4 minutes.
* Construction of the tunnel and the two loop lifts is expected to last up to 14 months
* Passengers will be transported on autonomous electric skates traveling at 125-150 miles per hour. Electric skates will carry between 8 and 16 passengers.
The Boring Company is excited to announce Dugout Loop – a high-speed, zero-emissions, underground public transportation system, allowing fans to get from the Red Line to Dodger Stadium in under 4 minutes https://t.co/q53zKeDkts
