
Lockheed, Dynetics and Raytheon are competing to build a 100 kilowatt laser for the US Army
The US Army will select one 100-kilowatt laser to integrate with a family of Medium-Tactical Vehicles in early 2019. The contract to install the laser system onto combat vehicle is expected to be $130 million.
There will tests in 2022 at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.
