  1. just do you know it wouldn’t have matter if ajit pai did what he did or not. We would still be ranked 6th. And btw you are misinformed and don’t fully understand what net neutrality is and why we need it. Ajit pai is full of crap and lieing to everyone. There is no market? Most people only have on provider to choose from. I could go on and on about this. You really should look into it more.

  2. Finding some way other than advertising to pay for internet content would increase the effective speed because there wouldn’t be so much unwanted crap being sent.

  3. Just think what America could do if we actually had a Congress and FCC that worked for American citizens instead of who paid for their election.

  6. The USA has moved up to the sixth fastest in fixed broadband with an average download speed of 97 Mbps.” Yes, we were at 12th place. Then Ajit Pai scrapped the idīotic Obama ‘net neutrality’ garbage and the private market has responded…while all the doom & gloom predictions by the Leftists never happened.

  10. I love it when people tout internet speed. All of the “top” countries land mass, would fit inside the United States. Heck, most of them would fit INSIDE Texas. In other words, if the USA was the size of Singapore, our internet speeds would be higher.

  12. It’s one of the rare case when I see my country in the top 10. And it’s mostly thanks to one corporation which upset larger corporation money-grubbing enterprises. Bandwidth might be near the cheapest here also. Nowadays you can get a 1000Mb/s connection for around 7-9 USD per month.
