Tesla and Elon Musk better proceed to vote on going private or Elon could be in trouble

Elon Musk could be in trouble if Tesla does not vote on the going private offer at $420.

Elon Musk twitter announcement on the buyout could look like stock fraud if they do not out the offer to a vote.

  3. Then why do you lie about Musk so much? It’s because you have nothing and can;t stand to hear good news or the truth about the man or his endeavors…shoving that in your face is not “musk-Fluffing”. it’s just beating a lying, sockpuppetting troll. I hope you’re real short on Tesla and starve under a bridge, like trolls ought to.

  32. Here is the thing, Musk called attention to the Media having no cloths. Stated he was going to make a sight where people could rate the media and Journalist. Sense then there have been nothing but bad stories about Musk. I am sure that’s just happenstance. The Media intends to tear Musk down till he is SJW compliant like the rest of the companies and rich. Then he is suddenly acceptable.

  44. So collapsing they are expanding with no prospect of their prospects dimming. The last quarter doesn’t even really matter, because not enough investors are as silly as you are — they know it’s the next decades which matter, and only Tesla is really going in the correct direction. Eventually, Ford, GM, et al will follow. But not yet.

  46. Yes it is stopping. It seems they will show a profit 3rd quarter, and given the likelihood of their continued expansion and dominance of the battery EV market, they will raise all the cash they need to for any more R&D and expansion. That’s the opposite of collapsing, you ignorant PoS.

  48. No moron, I’m just mocking your consistent stupidity with respect to all things Musk. You’ve claimed it’s obvious the USGov will take over SpaceX and you’ve claimed Tesla is headed for collapse, there is no trace of evidence for either. In fact, it all going the other way against you. The evidence the USGov will not nationalize SpaceX is, they have never done such a thing in the past and have no authority to do it either. We are not in wartime and even if we were, there is no evidence they would operate it better than Musk either (and quite the contrary). Tesla’s stock went quite against the trolls after even the most recent report, and the fundamentals of the company are excellent. They have a product they cannot satisfy the demand for yet, a product which iis already a better deal than its competition for easily 80% of the drivers in the country, and the sole reason they aren’t showing windfall profits is the pace of their expansion. They are a company 15 years old whose income has goner up 1000 fold in the last 10 years. The instant they don’t have to expand so aggressively, they become wildly profitably. People who don;t have such a stupidly shortsighted investment timeframe as you do want in. They want in at $420/share. You piss poor stupid troll. But if the Board votes for only say, $400, that’s as bad as if they didn’t vote on it at all, as far as the legal jeopardy Musk will be in. Strangely, if they vote for a higher amount he still might be in trouble…but most likely just a slap by the FEC in that case.

  56. Also, even if the board approves, it has to be for that $420/per share amount that Musk tweeted. If it isn’t…even if it is say, $400, then his tweets become fraudulent stock manipulation evidence just as if the board didn’t vote at all.

Sure they could go private or sell stock or up production to 20k cars a week or do something clever but they are hemorrhaging cash at a prodigious rate and it cannot continue. I for one hope that Elon takes the money and retires on the Moon/Mars and plays with his rockets the way a seven year old boy plays with toy trains.

  83. Tesla collapse in 3 quarters at their current cash burn rate.

  84. Yeah, I’m also concerned that the guy is spreading himself thin and maybe losing a marble or two.

The whole Thai boys recue fiasco was an embarrassment he could have perfectly avoided.

But this one can be his downfall, if he was just bluffing.

  85. “or Elon could be in trouble”

If he hasn’t secured funding then he is going to jail. If he is manipulating the stock price through tweets then yeah game over. I sincerely hope (for Mr Musk and for SpaceX) that this isn’t the Ambien tweeting.

For the most part I hope he gets his $15 billion payday and goes back to running just SpaceX. Tesla clearly has been a strain on him and with his newfound billions he can self fund the BFR/BFS and have enough left over for a trial Lunar colony.
