Heritage is a blockchain-enabled donation platform created by A^3, the Silicon Valley part of Airbus, the aerospace/flight company.
Airbus is providing a decentralized application to accept and manage donations for itself and it’s charitable partners from cryptocurrencies on the Ethereum blockchain.
The team has already held an internal fundraiser to test the platform to the benefit of several charities in and around the Bay Area.
Many companies do not have the trained people or the knowledge to create their own blockchain systems. Airbus will use Heritage to help cover this gap in skills and resources.
They use Plasma Cash to scale to thousands of transactions per second.
