With mass production it could be made cheaply.

Anything with the capabilities of a A-10 will cost far more than a A-10. Most reaper drones cost around 30mil. They usually don’t count all the control computers and such they have to buy and the support cost. Without these I think its 16-17 mil. The truth is when you look at modern aircraft programming is becoming a MASSIVE problem and massive cost. So doesn’t really look good for “cheap” super performing aircraft. The problem is that missiles use the same technology as a aircraft….so if a fighter can be made to think all that missile has to think is “Kill” AND is far more maneuverable.
