Tesla had registered a total of 61,843 Model 3 VINs in October.
Elon Musk noted that a ramp to 7,000 Model 3 per week should be doable just by optimizing its existing lines.
To date, 69,712 dual motor VINs have been registered w/ NHTSA (excl. test batches). This represents ~56% of all VINs registered (123,551) since AWD registrations began on 6/28.

Huge number. At this rate it is around 700K of model 3s per year.
Their neural net is now one of their most valuable properties. It is generating 20+ million miles of driving data *per day* now, with it going up every single month.
Registered is not ‘built’. Pay attention Musk Fluffers. I know it is difficult for you but you can do it!
You have no proof of that. And chances are this is just another lie of yours…especially after that BIG lie where you said the new model would sell for $35k. They aren’t selling for $35k.All we know is that they registered the VINs. That’s it.

You don’t make critical observations, only lie your a$s off.
No, you and Warren are stup!d. There is no hype, they are a better car than an equivalent priced ICE car.
Registered is not ‘built’. ” <– Yes, in a very short while it is. They pay for the VINs, they aren’t going to buy a bunch and then not get the revenue from delivering the cars they’ve agreed to but don’t get paid much of anything for until they delver. Only you could be stupid enough to think other wise.

I call ’em Musk Fluffers. And they always interpret my very reasonable critical observations of him/Tesla as equating to hating both. They especially hate any criticism towards their Cult God, Musk himself. In reality, I just push their buttons. They can’t stand that.
The Tesla cult is real. The hype machine rolls on.This is a hipsters dream. I’ll never buy one though. I’m not stupid.

I wouldn’t read too much into VIN registrations. It is just Tesla block reserving VINs that they expect to produce in the near term. Could be six or 8 weeks of production.
Igor has multiplied 61 800 per month by 12 months. But although the story never says so I think it’s clear that although they “registered” that many in October, they didn’t “build” that many. This is just an artifact of their registration process not being done in real time as they complete their cars.
Tesla fans can’t do simple arithmetic – 7,000 per week is 364,000 per year.
