Kirk, Its Cold Outside … in Space

Ricardo Montalbán played Khan Noonien Singh in both the original Star Trek series (1967) and the film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982). William Shatner played Captain Kirk in the original Star Trek. Therefore, Captain Kirk tweeted a song and dance number by Khan with a recent William Shatner tweet.

Neptune’s Daughter is a 1949 Technicolor musical romantic comedy film. This was the third movie that paired Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalbán, the other two being Fiesta (1947) and On an Island with You (1948), and the second to co-star Red Skelton (after 1944’s Bathing Beauty). This is one of the first films to depict the use of television.

Shatner tweeted out a clip of Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalbán singing Baby Its Cold Outside. The song won the Academy Award.

Ah Kirk My Old Friend Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold, It is Very Cold in Space

This is from a scene in the original Star Trek 2 the Wrath of Khan movie. Wrath of Khan has the vast majority of the best quotes from all of the Star Trek movies. The movie had the best balance of action, fun and quotes. The original series had the best balance of fun, writing, science fiction concepts and real-world social commentary. They also had solid acting. The original series used musical queues for characters and situations.

Some science fiction fans watched the original series live from 1966-1969. For science fiction fans who grew up and watched television at any point from 1970-1987, only had the reruns of the old series. Even though the movies started in 1979. Those were once every three-year events. There were the 79 episodes running.

By the time, I was in late high school and undergraduate, I and friends who watched the series had seen every episode many, many times. Therefore, if we happened to be watching another rerun together, the competition would be who could identify the episode in question first. This was usually won a few seconds or minutes into the opening of the show. Sometimes it could be identified by the shot of the planet they were orbiting in first seconds.

  1. It is an oldie. A classic song. Academy award winner. comes up as much as say some Frank Sinatra songs or old Broadway show tunes

  2. The topic of enhancing digital signing and some contracts or bills for generally improvement. Add video of participants and creators and parties to the contract speak and discuss the intent.

Boy talk about having a bottomless fountain of blackmail potential waiting for whoever hacks such a site.

  3. “Apparently during Metoo the protocol is I am going to do this (pause for objection), do that, State I did that.”

Once you add some blockchain to that process then you are good. Without the certification the verbal agreement is meaningless.

  4. The topic of Metoo came up at a lunch during the Foresight Vision weekend. An attendee was working on how to easily communicate leading up to and during romantic encounters. It was applying the powerpoint presentation advice. I am going to talk about this, talk about this and then review with I talked about that. Apparently during Metoo the protocol is I am going to do this (pause for objection), do that, State I did that.

The topic of enhancing digital signing and some contracts or bills for generally improvement. Add video of participants and creators and parties to the contract speak and discuss the intent. Video intent overrides the legalese. This would be bundled with the contract to resolve later disputes. MeToo apparently needs a lot of secure video to ensure truthful evidence of intent.

  5. Montalbán es mas macho. (SNL) I believe this is intended to be flirtation and seduction by both of them, something lost in today’s swipe right hookup generation.
