Space Padre Isle is tweeting that the first SpaceX test firing could be happening today. There is still no confirmation from Elon Musk or SpaceX. The road was closed.
Ars Technica reports that SpaceX will be conducting propellant-loading tests and they will probably not fire the engine. The first test firings will likely see no movement because the Starhopper is tethered to the ground.
There was a lot less attention during the first Grasshopper tests.
It will be another one to three weeks until any interesting hop tests are performed.
Sheriff says road will be closing at 10am CST (-5 UTC). Looks like the first test fire could be a go

Ready … set … what happened? No news a few days after that weather delay.
Looks like it will happen 25th-27th from this: https://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_9_1046.html
Looks like a dud or a wet dress rehearsal today. Maybe tomorrow if the rain stays away.
