Elon Musk tweeted that a 10-kilometer hyperloop track with a full vacuum tunnel and a curve will be built. It will be built by The Boring Company with SpaceX. They currently have a 1.6 km (1 mi) track. Elon Musk indicates that they will have the 10-kilometer track by next year.
Virgin Hyperloop One and Saudi Arabia will build a 35-kilometer test track.
Virgin Hyperloop One has an agreement with Saudi Arabia’s Economic City Authority. Together, they will carry out a study to build the longest test and certification hyperloop track (35km in length), and establish an R&D center and hyperloop manufacturing facility north of Jeddah, at King Abdullah Economic City.
A paper on the economic impact of the ‘Hyperloop Centre of Excellence’ will be prepared, and experts from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology will visit the Virgin Hyperloop One testing facility in Nevada in order to conduct a technical review and prepare a paper.

Hyperloop could enable transportation at nearly the speedo sound and improve connectivity across the Gulf, with a journey from Riyadh to port city Jeddah taking 76 minutes (compared with 10+ hours currently), and a journey from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi, UAE, taking 48 minutes (compared with 8.5+ hours currently).
Virgin Hyperloop One has signed a deal with the government of Dubai to construct a hyperloop which could connect the city with Abu Dhabi. Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HyperloopTT) will begin construction on the world’s first full-scale hyperloop in Abu Dhabi, beginning in the third quarter of 2019.

For that 10km mock up hyperloop vacuum testing at 288mph peak to carry 10 dummies, we can have a 1000km China commercial FSR running at 300mps transporting 1000 real people. Chinese will build everything for any length we want within few years.
Or we can wait a little longer for China to test out its 500mph new commercial FSR next year before we ask them to sell us one. Hyperloop, what a joke.
If they are going to make a short vacuum hyperloop, have it up the side of a mountain and keep going into orbit.
