1. I don’t see it being a priority in the near future. I expect that they will next work on a more entry-level full-size car and SUV and/or updates to Model S/X.

2. While the 3 and Y have a greater parts similarity than the S and X, the demand for them is so much greater they need multiple lines anyway.

3. Huh, I was under the impression the similarities in parts between the 3 and Y were greater than the S and X, which would have made Y production colocated with 3 production easier…

5. This is basically what I was thinking. ETA on a tent? Hopefully Tesla learned their lesson and we won’t have to repeat the “Tents are just the best, trust me!” fiasco.

6. Do they still have enough space in the parking lot for another tent manufacturing line then?

7. Hopefully once the Roadster comes out they’ll make a smaller sports car, akin to the Audi TT.
