Electrek reports that Tesla added a large new building besides its Gigafactory in Nevada.
They were told that the new building will be used for Tesla Semi production. This has not been officially confirmed.

Tesla could produce more cars today with their factories if they were not battery constrained. So adding more car capacity would only spread their batteries over more models without actually producing more cars.
The big news will be how they plan to ramp their battery cell production. We will find out during battery and drive train investor day. My guess is that Tesla will *not* announce making their own cells. Too big a bite at this time. Also doubtful if Maxwell technology will be announced. Battery technology seems to take decades rather than years…
