Not soon enough. Not fast enough.
My question is when will these therapies be available? No one talks about that.
I hope the dementia research goes quickly. I was a caregiver (along with some excellent healthcare support workers) to someone who had it and it is shocking how quickly the sundowning and resultant complications (urinary tract infections, pneumonia, etc.) can snowball to delirium and death. Watching a loved one dip into delirium is pretty awful.
