Marvel has released a phase IV trailer. It shows new movie titles like Wakanda Forever for Black Panther 2.
They used the voice of Stan Lee for first half of the trailer to celebrate the moments and feelings in the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It was rubbish.
It's probably just you and a few. They tend to be clever escapism with good production values and somewhat interesting characters (not all of them, of course), and it's not like you or I have to spend years of our life making one before we can spend an idle two hours watching one with the kids.
I do notice a lot of "chick-flicks" and deep drama type movies going on these days. I was done with those decades ago. Already had plenty of drama in real life and no desire to sit and watch more. Something for everybody, though.
That said, I'd like to see some really good hard science fiction movies, but I'm not holding my breath. The last one I can think of was The Martian, and even it took some shortcuts with reality (Martian soil is toxic and Matt Damon did nothing to detoxify it, etc.). Ad Astra looked promising in the trailer but turned out to be a sad joke at every plot point. Interstellar went sideways almost right away. The rest of recent so-called science fiction films (that aren't weak book adaptations) seem to actually be in the Horror, Thriller, Space-Opera, Space-Fantasy, or Superhero genres.
Most would-be science fiction film writers or directors seem to see physics as a constraint, to be ignored when they wish, rather than as both a challenge and a firm foundation to hang their movies on.
Am I the only one whose enthusiasm for these movies has waned? To paraphrase Tony Stark: I am … done.
So Godzilla vs Kong is going to be this year's movie with the most sympathetic, likeable and human main characters?
And probably for the whole 2020s the way things are going…
