SpaceX has moved the Super Heavy Starship and NASA has reserved observation planes for April 10 and 11.

Author: get the basic facts right… it is NOT called “super heavy”. It’s just called “Starship”. Super heavy is an entirely different rocket made by SpaceX.
There is the Falcon 9, Falcon heavy, Starship is the new upper stage, Super Heavy is the booster of the new fully reusable rocket.
I look for it to bend and side slip into the storage tanks…if not the rocket garden
From watching and understanding the new rocket. Hugely unsafe. Unfit for humans to return in or land with. Maybe good for cargo to mars but I would never expect to carry anybody. Reckless design to capture the booster and space vehicle. Engines will never be trusted to fire right on the turns and compete a return effectively 100% of the time. Musk hasn’t yet released the statement that this will be scraped or rebranded.
yeah I’m pretty sure the engines have proved themselves hundreds of times already in the falcon 9, you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about
Engines are different. “Raptor is a family of rocket engines developed by SpaceX exclusively for use in Starship and Super Heavy. It burns liquid oxygen and methane in a highly efficient full-flow staged combustion power cycle.”
nice joke 😉
So many delays, terrible. Too much bureaucracy,… is just destroying progress.
I understand that this is being reported elsewhere. Nut, only giving the media, Congress, Administration, and the public less than 8 days’ notice before this significant launch event? I hope not.
The government has been involved in this for years.
And mot every single event needs government involvement or approval.
This isn’t a surprise launch.
And it’s funded by tax dollars.
come one, we know Musk. This will launch 1:09 AM (69 minutes into the day), on April 20 (4/20),
April Fools? Or seriously?
According to Blue Origins, anyway… 😉
That’s fast for BO though. They’re already getting whiplash from the speed of SpaceX’s booster transporter as it whips around the bend at the VAB.
