Grok at XAI will likely update to Grok 2 tomorrow. Elon posted that the Grok 2 beta release is soon.
Elon Musk has previously stated that Grok 2 should beat GPT 4 on most metrics. However, there have been some improved versions from OpenAI and Anthropic.

I personally think Chat GPT-4o is the best, at least for me, it’s memory feature is really nice, and I’m looking forward to “voice”…if they ever release it.š
No way Grok 3 (GPT 5-ish) comes out later this year, my guess is next spring.
But I’m really hoping Elon pushes that into all his cars in a future update, that would be sick.

I’m not a current Grok user, but if it can code and parse input with an API, it might be worth something. If not, then no thanks.
Yes Grok 2.0 can code, I have asked it coding questions as well as advice for general datastructure questions. In all cases I already know the answer and it does a good job.
The image creation is good. Sure you have to pay but you also get an ad free experience which IMHO is worth it.
Claude is probably the best right now, followed by Chat gpt. Gemini is pretty bad and lags behind according to my tests. Musk’s promises have to be taken with a lot of salt, so we will see it.
