Mercedes, BMW and Tesla are the leading car companies by profits per car with over 500,000 cars sold for the first 6 months of this year.
This is for all kinds of cars. (Battery electric, Plug in hybrid, hybrid and combustion engine).
Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche had very high profits per car but far lower volumes.
Ferrari sells about 8000 cars per year.
Lamborghini sells just over 10,000 cars per year.
Porsche sells bout 250,000 cars per year.
Tesla is selling about 1.8 to 2 million cars this year.
BMW sells about 2.5 million cars per year.
Mercedes sells about 2.04 million cars per year.
