  1. Just be sure that all these reforms means puting men loyal to him over the laws in every key position, eliminating all control over him. That happened in Turkey, Hungary, Russia, in all spin dictatorship. The tutorial is complete and shared. And what he did in 2020 proves that he intends to use this tutorial. I can’t believe you neglected that.

    • Everybody here needs to read the book How Democracies Die. In it you’ll see how it has happened in the past. With that, you yourself can determine how Trump’s actions align with what caused other democracies to die.

    • The reason Trump wanted/wants to implement the so called “Schedule F” is that there are bureaucrats who think they can willfully obstruct the lawful orders/policy changes being enacted by the president because they don’t like him/agree with his policies. They figure that since he (Trump) can’t fire them they can pretty much obstruct as they please as far as obeying lawful directives from POTUS. Yes you have freedom of speech, but you don’t as a federal employee have the right to disobey orders/directives just because you don’t like/respect/agree with the president issuing them. Freedom of speech/opinion isn’t freedom to commit insubordination. If said POTUS directives are “illegal” then challenge them in court; you (said federal bureaucrats) don’t have the right to just ignore/disregard them and keep your job. If by “loyal” to Trump you mean willing to follow his lawful directives (and if you think otherwise challenge them in court) then so be it. If you want to avoid being fired under “Schedule F” then do your job and you likely won’t be. After a few 100’s (of the 50K or so effected by Schedule F) of said firings the majority would likely get the message and fall in line.

    • We the people acknowledge that sometime elected officials put party, and self above the constitution and the needs of the public. Therefore:

      No one found guilty of a serious crime is ineligible to run for elected office.

      Every 4 years the voters will be allowed to select the justices on the supreme court they wish to keep. If a a judge doesn’t get 50% of the vote the house and senate must select a replacement the . That individual is ineligible to serve in the supreme court. A new justice must be selected within one year by the house and senate and president. IF the next election is within 6 months the selection process cannot start until after the next election and the new elected officials take office.

      The judge select by elected officials will have to get the approval of the voters before he can become a member of the supreme court. And must be approve by the voter every 4 years after taking office.

      Supreme court judges or any elected official or government employee must publicly report any gifts they receive from individuals in the year they receive them. Failure to do so will result in immediate termination and they will be ineligible to run for elected office.

      The Government cannot use or pay for the services of a company owned by an electred official.

      All State congressional districts must be drawn by a computer without race, gender, our political affiliation data.

      The house senate and executive officials must pass a yearly budget and cannot spend more than tax revenue. Failure to do so will result in the immediate suspension of pay to all elected officials.

      All bills submitted the house and senate must be voted on within 2 years of submission by all elected members of congress.

      Elected officials in the house of representatives are ineligible to hold office to 12 years.

      Elected officials in the Senate are ineligible to hold office after 12 years of service.

      If and elected official is impeached The supreme court will then determine if the individual is guilty or inecent. If found guilty that person must immediately ejected from office. And will not be eligible or run for elected office.

      The president cannot pardon any current or former member of congress or any person that was or is government employee. The president is not allowed to pardon any relatives or any member of political party. All pardons must be approved by congress.

    I mean communist were doing “Inner purges’ against “inner enemies” all the time. It was a rational excuse to get rid of any opposition. They dismantled the law under some pretexes to get absolute power.

    I hope we won’t see a dictatorship under some pretexes and throw Ukrainians to be butchered from Russians. Democrats tried to get woman elected in US and not even white woman. Stupidity.

    One is what is promised and said, other is what is done by actions. I recall one European state, where they said they will “depoliticize” media. What they did was use that as excuse, they lied. They removed any opposition and installed the people who had similar political views as they. “depoliticization” was political purge to install people loyal to them. Psychopaths and dictators install people who are loyal and not necessary who are able.

    • And in his speeches, Trump has not exactly been a principled advocate of free speech. How many times has he threatened to revoke some media company’s broadcast license? And he said on multiple occasions that critics of the Supreme Court should be jailed.

        free speech has limits as does every right, if you commit crimes we take away your guns, imprison and fine you, possible even end your life if it’s extreme enough.

        it’s not wrong for businesses to be fined or lose their license for violations, truckers lose theirs all the time for accidents less substantial than what these networks do on purpose.

        these are supposed to be professionals in media, yet they frequently can’t even google an issue to see if they’re wrong before posting.🙄

        at bare minimum we need to remove the extra protections against libel and slander to public figures, or at least remove it to professionals in media who KNOW better & still lie their asses off.

          • Easy; if they use inflammatory rhetoric that is an implicit or explicit call for violence against members of the Supreme Court, there are legal consequences. If they engage in defamation or slander, dox the address of their homes and encourage protesters to engage in illegal harassment( NOT a legal protest where a group of idiots throw punches and engage in small scale property destruction, nor issuing insults, nor call out institutions as abusive or corrupt and calling for their dismantling ) there are legal consequences. If you call judges a direct threat to democracy, a demagogue on par with Hitler, and issue defamatory statements about their statements actions, or intents, there could be legal consequences.

            Trump stays within those bounds, even when his rhetoric is over the top or personal. Many of those opposed to him( including the mainstream media) fail to, on a regular basis.

            • Lying that election was stolen when he lost fair and square is really something within bounds. Not to mention sending mob,… Pressuring Zelenskyy to get smear on his political opponent,… Lots of things within bounds. It would be worse if they let him and be quiet.

              Underlying psychology of dictators is very alike, let it be Hitler, Stalin, Putin or someone else. They are psychopathic, choose people who are loyal around them, lie all the time, try to dismantle state and laws so they can have absolute power. Attack media if it doesn’t serve them, appoint their own people on positions of power,… They like to be admired, so they foster cult of personality, where followers blindly follow them. They use loyal people, to secure their asses and if there is danger to themselves they are willing to discard-sacrifice them without even blinking. Usually hard to work with psychopath, unless they both have benefits (are corrupt) and win win scenarios. Psychopath would do anything to win and is very revengeful. Lots of nepotism – appointing loyal relatives to position of power and not based on merit or ability,…

                He (Trump) has a right to his opinion/belief that the election was rigged/stolen etc. regardless of whether so-called experts agree. Even if some people “close” to Trump allegedly expressed doubts about said rigging. He doesn’t forfeit the right to stating his own feelings about such. Just as Hillary Clinton in 2016 (after conceding the election) to Trump spent years afterward saying he wasn’t a “legitimate president” because he didn’t win the popular vote. Hillary Clinton of course knows that that electoral college decides Presidential election; is she “lying” about her belief Trump wasn’t a legitimate president? Should she have been charged/prosecuted for “fraudulent” saying such when the law was clearly on the side of the electoral college being the decider? Undermining the public’s faith in the “democratic process”?

        • There is a good reason journalism is protected. If it is not, every dictator can imprison people who expose, criticize him. In Russia people go in jail for small criticism of Putin and we see where they are and what they do to other people. Majority doesn’t have time to deal with politics in depth,… so we need journalist to do it and if things go wrong they expose them and present other side of the story. We wouldn’t know how did Nazis deport Jews into concentration camps if the story was not presented to masses. Since so many newspapers are owned by so many different people it is more democratic that it would be otherwise and if they are not silenced. There is no mass conspiracy by all that media owned by so many people with their own interests. That doesn’t mean that everything is great, working and they don’t do injustice occasionally. Now if journalists are held legally responsible for slander or libel, then politicians should also be held legally responsible. If Trump, Biden, Musk or any other politician lies and slanders,… he should be persecuted and held legally responsible. That would be fair, but is he? Is every scammer like Rossi with his bogus cold fusion claims and rationalizing his scam with deep government conspiracy held accountable? Deep state doesn’t want people having cold fusion? Can every scammer lie to the masses, deceive and get away? It is free speech?

          I mean Hitler lied and deceived the masses, manipulated people against others like Jews by some conspiracy claims,… Is that free speech or should he be held accountable before he did more damage? When Russia was exporting communism to spread its influence they were using ideology as a way to gain influence over others. Communists were so damaging to society with their radical ideas (wanted to destroy working state and install new gov, which would be pro Russia) so the only way was to lock them up or send them back to Russia. I mean it would be fair if people are not silenced, but the ones who lie and deceive the masses or do damage are held legally accountable. That would be the line where so called free speech ends like the individual is free but until he doesn’t do damaging acts to others. Same should apply to “free speech”.

            • The psychology of these so called movements and dictators is so alike. History gives us good examples how things went and how did they develop over and over again. Now would you say that history won’t teach us lessons so we don’t need to repeat them?

        • What I see you are very sensitive about media’s lying and it resulted somehow in your case that you voted for a man who continously lies. Interesting logic, in deed.

    • Until now you had a choice. But from now you will not be able to get rid of republicans. And if they govern the country bad, you will not able to do anything. Of course they allways will find a scapegoat to blame on their mistakes, and at the beginning you will believe these nonsenses.
      The same happened with us in Hungary. We elected Orban as he seemed to be the strong man who gets the country out of the hole. Even I voted for him. It was the worst decision in my life. Now we are the poorest country in the EU and cannot get rid of him. He learned everything from Putin to keep the power, to simulate democracy where he allways wins. Also from Erdogan of Turkey. He put his relatives and loyal friends to all important position, he blackmailed all rich people not to finance opposite news and slowly strangled the country. His friends now takes over every promicing business, everybody tries to be under the radar to not get an “offer you can’t refuse’.
      This will happens to you and you kickstarted it too. You will not be so proud of it after a decade, you ‘ll see.

The government is not perfect but for the most part there is free speech and no deep state and Trump is not President yet. It looks to me to be a prescription for a wanna be dictator. Next up, plans to stifle the media in the name of free speech.

  6. Realistically, Trump has only one goal — go on a revenge spree against anyone he perceives as an enemy. And don’t be to excited about Musk being in the inner circle. During his first term, most of Trump’s “confidants” only lasted about six months before they were shown the door. Rest assured, there’s not enough oxygen in the Oval Office to satisfy both him and Musk.

      Okay, “perceived enemies” ; by that you must mean the folks (Bragg, Merchan, James, Willis, Smith) who spent millions of tax payer dollars trying to either/or lock him up for the rest of his life and/or bankrupt him on bogus charges, based on questionable interpretations of the law, and manipulating public opinion with help of a compliant/complicit media. People who some of whom are still actively trying to imprison him (Willis/Merchan) or only grudgingly backing down (Smith). By all means he should let these people off for the “good of the country” so that they can go on to try to try/incarcerate him or his family another day (for likely the rest of his life long after his 2nd term ends).

      FYI. Trump seems to have quite a few goals beside that; restore the military, end the war in Ukraine, attack aggressively the budget deficit (Impoundment/Elon Musk), strong support of the space program (Musk again), aggressive domestic oil production increases. Apparently he is not a one trick pony; (unlike Biden who is more of a no-trick-pony).

  7. Minimal impact on the things that matter. Taxes. Immigration. FDA/EPA/FAA etc. Fed. Debt. NATO. UN. Energy production and distribution. Infrastructure. Medicare/ Medicaid…

      Further, in an ideal fiscal-Conservative, pro-civilization-Libertarian mindset, it is the job of Government to create ‘greatness’ between People – individualistic and driven People. That means support for projects: private, PPP, public or otherwise for world-class infrastructure, communications, defence/ law, and heritage-culture projects — not regulation, re-distributive taxation, and speech/behaviour moderation. It’s not a cheap system – but it enables greatness in the region, country, and individual. Almost no other country except maybe UK and Australia could pull it off (most countries’ populations cannot handle such unfettered freedom), but the next 4 – 6 years should give it a start.

  8. I’d add something important to the proposal: Hold a constitutional convention!

    You’re not getting any useful amendments out of Congress, opponents have easily enough votes to block the supermajority vote required to originate an amendment from Congress. They’re sure not going to vote 2/3 to limit their own terms!

    But plenty of states have called for a convention, all Congress needs is a simple majority vote to declare that enough states have requested one, (Ignoring the legally irrelevant differences in the language of the requests.) 49% of Congress can object and it doesn’t mean a thing. Then it’s out of their hands.

    The amendments Trump wants are popular enough that there should be no trouble convincing a Convention to originate them. And Republicans control enough states they don’t need to worry about bad amendments being ratified.

    Really, we desperately need a convention to circumvent Congress and get the Constitution updated on things like mandating a balanced budget, term limit Congress, and so forth.

      • Only if you want the will of New York and California to decide most elections (two wolves and one sheep deciding what’s for dinner).
        The Electoral College is the best system for fair governance. We are a Republic, not a Democracy it was made that way for a reason. The popular vote decides the states. We are a nation of united states. That is why state’s rights were added to the Constitution the founders were smart. This gives people the opportunity to live under the government they want.

        • The red states are the wolves in that analogy. New York and California pay more in federal taxes than they receive in benefits. Red states are the ones getting subsidized.

          That would continue even if the president were decided by popular vote, because every state gets two senators regardless of population.

        • States were given more power than their ratio of populations would suggest because they needed to make concessions to small states to get them to join the union. A United States missing some/all of the small states likely would have died on the vine.

          It is prima facie unfair to give some citizens greater voting rights than others, but its how it worked out, due to a quirk of history.

          The reason that this unfairness hasn’t been fixed has nothing to do with states or minority rights, and everything to do with the fact that in order to change it, the representatives of the small states would have to agree to do so, and its against their interests to do so.

    • The problem with a Constitutional Convention is everything is on the table including the Bill Of Rights and the whole Constitution. I have no faith to trust 1A-14A let alone 2A to a Constitutional Convention. Yes, it could solve some problems but it could also lead to our demise. A Convention of States is simply one of the two methods in Article 5 of our Constitution for proposing and ratifying amendments. This is not the sort of convention that has the power to propose a new Constitution or to change the Constitution.
      Word matter.

    • Traditionally, wannabe dictators get the supermajority by bribe, blackmail or treats. You don’t have to chuck that many out of a window before the rest get the message.

      If your henchmen get caught, you can pardon them.
