Tesla is achieving huge success with cars, trucks, megapacks and soon robotaxi and teslabot. All of the products are made by Gigafactories. NO matter how successful robotaxi and teslabot become they will be made by the factories. The Teslabots are and will work in the factories.
The unboxed process of building cars like giant legos should be implemented in two to three years. The productivity will increase by three to five times.
Instead of 500,000 cars from a production area the same area will make 2 million. This is not the end . Tesla could make ten million cars from the area where 500,000 cars are made now.
The factories have been changing and are constantly improving.

Thought this was good. I dont quite understand how a powerwall is needed for a typical family for AI and how this would pencil out. Interesting gigafactories would be in HVAC and large scale desalinization .
It’s not needed for AI. In my area, the utilities have taken to randomly shutting off power during high wind events, to prevent more brush fires from downed power lines that were poorly maintained. This prevents them getting sued again on 88 counts of manslaughter. If we’re going to have unreliable 3rd world power because of willful material and maintenance issues, you might as well be self sufficient with battery backup.
If you’re suggesting battery production, then yes. Batteries will soon be defined and considered an energy commodity. Their massive global expansion lately for storing cheap renewables will lead the way.
