The seventh fully integrated test flight of Starship with its Super Heavy booster launched. the Starship booster is a block 2 version with a lot of improvements.
Go for booster return AND IT WAS CAUGHT.
Telemetry has been lost to the Starship after the ascent burn. Upper stage was lost.

If all goes well, Starship will re-enter in the Indian Ocean about 65 minutes after it lifts off from Starbase, TX, after performing a Raptor relight test and having deployed 10 Starlink mass simulators. SpaceX will be attempting to catch the Super Heavy booster with the launch tower again, hopefully catching it for the second time.

Hope they wont give them too much hard time over fireworks. One video shows view of Starship disintegrating not so far away and from airplane window. Flight paths are different etc,. but you know how things are if something blows.
Like the methane burn, looks really nice, way nicer than kerosene.
Debris shooting across the sky in the Caribbean reminiscent of Columbia.
The world’s biggest conventional firework.
Beautiful launch, and that landing was a thing of beauty, looked much cleaner then the last catch. But yeah, Bummer about the ship. Looking forward to hearing what went wrong.
Elon Musk was on that rocket. He cut communications and slipped off to mars. I wish him success on his journey.
