Blue Origin New Glenn rocket had a scrubbed first launch. Blue Origin will not try again for at least two days and weather will likely cause further days of delays.
The rocket seems ready. The problem was icing on a vent.
When New Glenn starts flying it will operate much like a larger SpaceX Falcon 9. New Glenn has comparable payload mass to the SpaceX Falcon Heavy.
They will try to recover the first stage booster to a barge. SpaceX started the barge and recovery of booster stages.
New Glenn will not recover the upper stage.

Blue Origin is writing checks that their rocket cannot cash.
Its only likely role is to serve as the second source for governments and large companies who insist on having one. They’ll get enough business to keep them viable, that way.
But it’s unlikely they’ll ever be the preferred vendor.
Another delay, but still better than fireworks.
