Feels – to me – like there’s a marketing problem that remains unaddressed: the palpably evil nature of faceless black-faced humanoid-in-overall-shape bots as somehow the most marketable phenotype out there today. Really? Y’all somehow figure out how to master self-locution, balance, problem solving, conversational language interpretation, real time gigabit signaling and even self-recharge mechanisms, and ALL you come up with is a glossy black faced automaton that looks like it’d be as happy unpacking boxes of oranges as whacking you over the head with a pipe wrench? And whistling while working?
Really? Jeez. How out-of-touch is that. Like the marketing nightmare of ‘ChatGPT’ as a handle. Chat, we get. G = Grossly, P = Parrotlike, T = Toenails? W-T-F???
Read if you haven’t, “Klara and the Sun” by Mr. Ishiguro. I don’t generally recommend titles, but in this upcoming AI Singularity (which it obviously is rapidly becoming), Klara is a rather poignant futurist’s interpretation of what well marketed AIs might become. It is not a short story, but more of a novelette. I ‘did it’ in 3 days of a few hours a day, reading slowly to enjoy the words and imaging.
MARKETING, please. Faceless shiny black AI predators, are not going to do The Field any good, at all.

What to do with unemployment ? Will the bot beeing taxed ?
Great video.
I like that you just stuck with the top 5 US ones, and didn’t go full rambling mode naming every bot.
That said, I would love a another 5 robot video, but China.
I also like that your top 5, didn’t include Boston Dynamics, E-Atlas is cool, but they STRUGGLE with bringing things to market, they have been in R&D mode so long (regardless of who owns them), that they don’t have the right mindset. You need gung ho people like Musk or Adcock, that push push push.
Glad you liked it. Yes, I will do a China top 5 video. and deeper dives into many companies, projects etc…
