IDF and Mossad created a drone base inside Iran and put commando forces inside Iran. This was used to destroy Iran’s air and missile defenses. Missiles were placed near the air defenses and struck at the start of the military campaign.
Mossad agents successfully constructed a drone launch site near Tehran. These drones were activated in a surprise strike that took out surface-to-surface missile launchers positioned to target Israel.
In parallel, Israeli operatives smuggled vehicles containing precision weapons systems into Iranian territory. These systems were used to disable Iran’s air defense infrastructure, clearing the way for Israeli aircraft to operate freely in Iranian airspace.
A third covert component involved Mossad special forces placing precision-guided missiles close to anti-aircraft installations in central Iran. These strikes played a key role in neutralizing Iran’s layered air defense system.
In shocking news, Israel confirms that they had a drone base in Iran and used it to blow up the ballistic missile launchers and hit other targets. As I said earlier, Iran has an intelligence failure. Israeli intelligence literally owns Iran.

All I know is that under Biden admin there was no Israel – Iran war and this will most likely spiral. Trump lied about ending Russian war against Ukraine in 24 hours and he has not been able to do it. Putin played Trump “like a fiddle” for few months.
I believe when you say “all I know”. This escalation was planned for around a year (while Biden was still in office) and was bound to happen eventually. Iran had an advanced nuclear weapons program and a declared intent to destroy Israel. It didn’t happen under Biden because he was pushing off the inevitable.
Putin didn´t play Trump.

Ukraine doesn´t want to give the garantees Russia needs it won´t be NATO, Russia will keep Ukraine as a failed state, so it can go on being a buffer between Russia and NATO.
This started with the US led NATO agressive stance against Russia when the Cold War ended, when the Russians thought the West would welcome it, and instead what they saw was the West trying to take advantage of it’s weakened position.
Jeffrey Sachs himself (who worked with Poland, Ukraine AND Russia to make them market economies in the 90s) that he was able to approve loans for market minded reforms in Poland in 24 hours… the same for Russia was denied and the Clinton administration laughed at him.
For a start… NATO and the defense industry were too large to be left only with small guerrilla enemies. You don´t need advanced jet fighters , super carriers etc, to fight insurgents.
These kinds of attacks, by Ukraine and Israel, from inside a target country suggest that the Golden Dome may not be as protective as some claim it will be. This is on top of the usual concerns about big military projects being late and overbudget.

Impressive stuff, but should have all been unnecessary. Israel and Iran have a lot in common. All their neighbours hate them. They are a different ethnic and religious group to their neighbours. There should be a bond rather than animosity.
I still blame Trump from walking away from the nuclear agreement in the first term with no reason or evidence. (Or as flaky as the Iraq war evidence anyway).

Actually, we’ve had evidence for years now that Iran wasn’t complying with their nuclear agreement, it’s just that the inspectors didn’t want to call them on it. All Trump did was stop pretending to believe them.
Well, no, he also refrained from deliberately sending them billions of dollars. Honestly, THAT bone headed move still blows my mind.

I think that money belonged in Iran and had been confiscated. Obama returned their money for whatever good it might do
America needs Iran to be the bogey man so it can sell its weapons to the UAE and Saudi Arabia and access their cheap oil. Attacking Iran makes these nations happy and willing to keep supporting Israel through the Abram accords.
… and also Iran has a nuclear weapons program and has sworn to destroy the Jewish state. But you believe whichever one you think is more likely!
And also the Jewish state has plans for a Greater Israel. Nobody can be trusted in that area.
