Tesla Robotaxi Expands to San Francisco This Weekend

Tesla will start supervised Robotaxi service in San Francisco this weekend. There will be a safety driver will be in the front seat with full access to the wheel and brake.

There will be a steady series of announcements as safety riders and safety drivers are removed, service areas are expanded, ramping of cars and customers and opening to the public instead of by invitation or approved applications.

After this weekend Tesla will have robotaxi service with safety rider in Texas and safety driver in California. There will be expansion of robotaxi to Arizona, Florida and other cities in each of those states.

Tesla FSD will also have news over the coming weeks and months with expansion to new countries.

The unsupervised Austin version of FSD will be sent to all Tesla cars in the next weeks.
There will be an improved 4X the parameter version of FSD. This will be followed by another 2.5X parameter increase to 10X from the current system.

The technical capability for unsupervised FSD in various states and countries will be possible by the end of the year (2025).

Tesla FSD is operating in China, Mexico, Canada and the USA.

  1. Teslas gonna burn (for clarification, I will not be burning any Teslas. I don’t live in San Francisco, but because they will be rollin’n in San Francisco, I say – Teslas gonna burn!) A few years ago, I was considering buying one. Not today! Teslas are as popular as DOGE!
