IVO Quantum Drive Tests Delayed By Infrequent Communication Problems

The potentially worldchanging (if successful) test of a quantum drive in orbit is being delayed by rare and infrequent communication to the cubesat. These are not problems with the drive but with the communication and satellites systems of the lowcost cubesat provider.

I am speculating that Rogue Systems gave IVO a low cost or free secondary payload rideshare to make up for the lost first satellite. The first satellite failed its communication. Now IVO had to wait months to get a chance to test their quantum drive in orbit. They had to wait after another payload and drive finished its test.

The satellite communication to the cubesat is infrequent. Rogue Systems is a very new satellite company who sends up a low cost satellite into orbit on SpaceX rideshare launches.

It seems all shoestring, low cost and seems to be not the most reliable systems because of the tradeoffs in economizing.

We are waiting for test of the IVO quantum drive which is a propellentless drive. If it is successful in raising the orbit of the OTP-2 Rogue Space satellite (Norad tracking Satellite 63235), then it could open up access to interstellar travel and fast travel around the solar system.

This is controversial because if it is successful and validated then it will change what is accepted physics.

The experiment will need to raise the orbit of the satellite as evidence that it is successful. Celestrak is monitoring the satellite.

If it works then a multi-decade nuclear power source would be able to provide constant acceleration for decades. This would enable reaching very fast speeds.

Background: According to standard physics we cannot travel to the stars in a human lifetime because we need impractical amounts of fuel to get close to light speed. However, a new theory of inertia has been proposed called Quantized Inertia (QI). It predicts standard inertia, as a vacuum effect, at normal accelerations. It also predicts a drop in inertia at low accelerations that predicts disc galaxy rotation without dark matter.

In 2023, they are getting good results from a capacitor with a dielectric between plates with 8 micron separation. McCulloch uses Aluminium plates and kapton dielectric but IVO Ltd experiment uses a solid dielectric. There are at least three groups working on the propulsion experiments and six labs worked on ground experiments. In Mike McCulluch lab at Plymouth, they saw 0.25 milliNewtons. IVO saw 52milliNewtons. All of the works is at about 1 watt of power because attempts to increase power causes problems at this time. There is still times when the system does not work.

  1. When you claim you will revolutionize physics but you cannot maintain satellite communication. Elvis did a concert via satellite in 1973…

    • It is a low cost and new vendor. Space missions can have problems. As people have noted, SpaceX had a couple of Starships missions that failed despite 400+ successful missions with Falcon 9. NASA and others have had many failed missions.

      • Yes, it is a conspiracy of the ineptitude. Thy do not understand basic physics and, not surprisingly, even basic aspects of their machine do not work

  2. I really, I really want this to be successful. It has the potential to change so much for the good of everyone if it’s legitimate and if subsequently developed technology is used by the right people in a positive way.

    • If this is successful it will be as big a change to physics as we know it as the switch from classical physics to quantum physics, or more so.

      Because it just cannot work if what we think we know about physics is anything like right.

      Don’t get me wrong, I’d vastly enjoy the resulting shakeup, maybe more than having the drive.

      But if I were given a choice between betting my life on a given lotto ticket not winning the Powerball, or this test not working, I’d go with the latter in a heartbeat…
