The AI race is shifting from who has the best model to who can actually deploy and access the most reliable gigawatts of compute at scale.

Only a handful of players can realistically build at meaningful scale with multi-GW clusters needed for frontier training/inference. This favors hyperscalers (Microsoft/OpenAI, Google, Amazon, Meta), heavily funded specialists, and deep-pocketed entities (SpacexAI/Elon’s Colossus expansions).
Neoclouds (specialized GPU cloud providers like CoreWeave, Nebius, Lambda) gain relative advantage. They focus narrowly on AI compute, avoid hyperscaler overhead, and can price 60–85% cheaper on equivalent Nvidia silicon.
Power is the primary bottleneck for AI, Data centers follow power availability, not the other way around. Utilities, independent power producers, nuclear operators, gas plant owners, and even former crypto miners (with existing high-power sites) are extremely well-positioned.
