SSI announced a long-term strategic partnership with NVIDIA. NVIDIA is making a substantial investment in SSI that will let them 10x theor compute in the next 12 months. They reached the point where their research is worth scaling and with this partnership we will be able to.
In an interview, Ilya seems to say that they have made breakthroughs in how AI generalizes what it learns. It goes beyond optimizing reinforcement learning and changes aspects of pre-training.
