Reports Tesla Order Suppliers to Scale to 1,000 Units per Week by September

Reports indicate Tesla suppliers were issued specific Optimus Gen 3 parts procurement guidelines, requiring them to increase production capacity to 1,000 units per week by September of this year and increase to 2,000 to 2,500 units per week by end of year.

They are stating Elon reviewed and approved the latest version of Optimus during an executive meeting at the end of June.

Projected weekly production capacity at the end of the year will be approximately 100,000 Optimus parts annually.

    • Tesla factory usage for the first 20,000+ to hundred thousands and then other factories. But there is an early adopter market for tens of thousands. Major market is using the AI5 chip and high power for over 20X laptop performance
