When did Tesla FSD 15 get installed into Robotaxi?
It happened 2 month ago and Tesla slowed the unsupervised robotaxi program to reset and work with the new software.
Tesla said they had 380,000 miles without notable incident, which also coincides with the amount of unsupervised robotaxi miles of the last 2 months.
Clearly Tesla FSD 15 is a step change in safety and perfecting seven major streams of improvement will result in a system which will scale to beyond Waymo levels of the next 4-9 months.
It will interesting to see if when they are at 300-2000 unsupervised vehicles in about 3-6 months whether the system will be able to go statewide in Texas and Florida.
I expect the FSD 15 will be rolled out to all hardware 4 FSD owners in Q4 of 2026.
