US Dept of Energy will spend $425 million for 300 petaFLOP and 100 petaFLOP supercomputers by 2017
The Department of Energy has commissioned two supercomputers: one is a system codenamed “Summit”, and it will be installed at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee.
