Progress on Stronger Carbon-Nanotube Fibers

Researchers have improved techniques for spinning fibers of carbon nanotubes: they make the nanotubes align in the fiber, creating fibers as strong as, or stronger than, materials such as Kevlar that are used in bullet-proof vests.
