This burn was successful and the craft will reach lunar orbit where it will adjust its lunar orbit until it is ready to land.\n\nThe $100 million Beresheet spacecraft is a joint venture<\/a> between startup SpaceIL and Israel Aerospace Industries.\n\nFrom April 11 to 13th, the spacecraft is expected to carry out two or three days of experiments collecting data about the moon\u2019s magnetic fields before shutting down. \n\n\n \n\n\n
