Bloomberg Reports Refreshed Tesla Model Y Mass Production Starting Mid-2024

Bloomberg reports that Tesla will mass produce a refreshed Model Y starting in mid 2024. Tesla has already refreshed the Model 3. The New Model 3 started production at the China factory.

The assumption is that the Juniper refresh of the Model Y will add many of the Highland Model 3 upgrades.

The mid-2024 Tesla Model Y release is rumored to be the Project Juniper. The Model 3 Highland refresh added more luxury materials, sleeker design and slightly longer body, restyled head and taillights, upgraded interior and specs.

There are reports the new Model 3 Highland will start deliveries in the USA in January 2024.

New front and rear fascias
Tweaked body panels
Updated wheel designs
New colors
Improved build quality
Reduced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) / added acoustic glass
Changes to the suspension geometry, suspension bushings, and rear subframe mount
Reworked cabin

There will be fewer parts and lower construction cost.
