The original south korean team of researchers presented new videos of their work on room temperature superconductors on Monday.
In this video, I (Brian Wang) discuss what I think are the main points from the brief 10 minute update.
There is now full levitation of the new material which has sulfur in the chemical formula. Previously, there was partial levitation. The purity and strength of the magnetic levitation effect must be improved. The size of the sample being levitated is very small.
The other major announcement is that another Korean group is replicating the room temperature superconductor work experimentally. There are now at least two groups in Korea and several groups in China able to make this material and they are all getting evidence indicating superconducting effects.
