Chuck Cook and Whole Mars Test Tesla FSD 12.3.6

Chuck Cook tests Tesla FSD 12.3.6 which has improved automatic parking assist. You can pick parking spots in front or behind you and the system will park the car. It can parallel park and parking perpendicular or at angles. The parking in FSD 12.3.6 is like a separate app that does not seem to be integrated into the FSD 12.3.X stack. The autoparking did not watch for oncoming traffic when it started the parking move.

It does not reverse to get out of a parallel parking. If there is not enough room to pull forward and out then it will not exit the parking spot.

Tesla will need to extend the one month free FSD trial so that Tesla can release FSD 12.4 and let people try it.

  1. Terms like “Full Self-Driving” and “Autopilot” should be considered false advertising until Tesla proves that its cars can safely drive in real conditions without anyone in the driver’s seat.
It is worth noting that such proof should not be particularly difficult for Tesla as it has already been several years since Musk claimed that Teslas could be summoned from Los Angeles to New York.

    • Wow, you’re wasting your time bashing… so proud of you. Is your favourite car maker so f.u. that the only option you have is to hate Tesla? You haven’t even realized that FSD 12 is a total new approach. In S.F. on Waymo level if not better and improving very fast.

    • @AAA….

I’m a comercial airline pilot. Fly 100’s of dumbasses all over the country every day. Well actually, the autopilot does all the boring work. Are you saying I should get out of the seat and take a nap, or should I not call it autopilot?
