Tesla Price Changes and Cybertruck Price Expectations

Tesla has lowered the starting prices of the Model S and X below $80,000 and reduced the price of FSD to $12000.

Farzad has provided a table of the current pricing of all Tesla models and where he expects the Cybertruck and next generation cars to be priced.

Nextbigfuture has long term analysis of batteries with improving battery volumes and improving energy density will see the price for the battery pack drop from $12000 for nickel based packs down to $4000-6000 mass produced LMFP packs in 2025 and $2000 sodium ion packs and $3000 advanced LFP or LMFP packs in 2026-2027. This means there will be 6000-10000 in cost reduction for nickel battery many of Tesla EVs in 2025 and $5000-6000 in lower price from todays iron LFP models from battery pack price reductions.

    • Elon probably knows what Tesla plans to charge already. Potentially one of the factors in the Tesla portfolio pricing restructure.
I’m not saying this chart is accurate for Cybertruck pricing though. Especially considering the tri-motor range is listed here as less than dual-motor.
