WA Police have been running a 12-week trial using Starlink’s low orbit satellite technology in some of the most remote parts of the state — Balgo, Kalumburu, Jigalong, Kintore, and Burringurrah — allowing them to get reception at all times.
Police are also able to easily send livestream body-worn camera and car dashboard footage to the State Operations Command Centre in Perth.
