US Marines Have Lost a F-35B, F-18D and MV-22B in Separate Crashes in Less Than 30 Days

The US marines have lost two fighter jets and an expensive military transport helicopter in less than 30 days. This is without any combat operations. The F-35B costs over $100 million, the F-18D costs $50 million and the MV-22B Osprey costs $84 million. The US military lost over $234 million of combat air vehicles in three crashes.

The US Marines ordered a two-day stand down in all flight operations. It was also US marines in the MV-22B Osprey crash. The Osprey crash killed three marines. The F-18D was also a US marine plane and that pilot died as well.

Four deaths and three crashes in less than 30 days.

The pilot of an F-18D died and the F-18D was destroyed in a crash near San Diego.

An MV-22B Osprey crashed with 23 US Marines on board and three died. The MV-22B is an $84 million helicopter. Five others were taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital in a serious condition.

  1. Pathetic. Too many Mericans are pathetic cry-babies who have to politicize everything. Not only is it pathetic, it is boring.

  2. Incidents aren’t as important as rates of failure. Hopefully, each accident will be thoroughly investigated, and the appropriate change in design or maintenance made.

  3. Osprey is infamous for killing lots of marines. Concept looks like it should work, but transition between vtol and level flight fraught with difficulty.

  4. Accidents happens, but this is getting ridiculous.
They need to find out if these were a mechanical issue, or lack of proper training, which I realize is harder this days with all of Biden’s diversity hires.

    • Why do jerks always need to wear their politics on their sleeve? Coz they’re jerks. The level of partisanship you Mericans have is ridiculous.

      • If you’re not complaining about the politics you’re essentially happy with the politics. Our country has been hijacked by communist weaklings – cut us some slack while we writhe in discomfort.
