Today, Elon Musk talked with Joe Rogan about a Beast Mode version of the Cybertruck. He said it would have a 0 to 60 mph time of less than 3 seconds.
Eight months ago I predicted that there would be
The final specs and pricing for the different Tesla Cybertrucks are still to be released. However, it is likely that a top end Cybertruck will have over 500 miles of range, a fast 0 to 60, more batteries and powerful hauling capabilities.
The Tesla Cybertruck resisted a 545 grain arrow fired at 275 feet per second.
Tesla is aiming for production of over 200,000 Cybertrucks per year.
The Cybertruck weight is 6000-7000 pounds depending upon the version.
The bottom of the Cybertruck is completely flat.
It has the best clear height of any vehicle.
Bullet proof glass is an after market option. The bullet proof glass is too thick to roll down the window.

Some silliness, but I still like it. And it will be successful financially. Until it isn’t.
I admit that the cybertruck is 1000% amazing marketing and cool factor. Some protectionist (light armored) and survivalist (solar panel charged) concepts hard baked into a product market(s) approaching Mad Max dystopian times. Why aren’t the other auto companies following suit? Whether EV hybrid or ICE?
To say it will function as a real truck, as is, is delusional. I think one of the more mathematically inclined MB posters did the numbers – all the hip factor will not overcome physics and it’s lack of ability to truly haul much weight in a real world situation.
Tesla is banking on an order of degree improvement in battery power to weight density in order to compete with ICEs. Not a bad strategy or bet, it follows Musk quick build to fail modeling. Any battery improvements will just need to be swapped out later on. Meanwhile, the sales will continue. Lookout zombies!
Disruptive technologies are more than double, or triple edged.
Not any time soon:
“will enable it to tow heavier loads while still have better range than a combustion engine Ford F150 and perhaps Ford F250 trucks when they are pulling loads.”
I think that Musk is gearing up his plant workers to be in beast mode due to recent comments about needing to step up.
Interesting how other manufacturers are approaching the market .
“The amount of materials we need for one electric-vehicle battery, we can build 90 hybrid batteries.”
— Sean Suggs, who oversees Toyota’s North Carolina battery plant, on the EV battery supply chain

Getting so deep into the Musk mindset – That shows what a beast you are!
